Come Ski With Us Next Season!

The 2014 dates are in!  Lets go to the Arlberg in January. Our trip begins on the 25th and goes to February 1. Then back to the Val d’ Isere realm in April.  That’s the 5th to the 12th, the same timeframe that produced these nice turns Kim put down last month.  More details on the web page, check it out.  Guided private trips are going to be available next season too!  Look out for more info on that.  P.S. Thanks for a great 2013 everybody!!

New Dates Imminent!

Our man Chris Terry getting it done on the recent Paradiski trip!  We plan to post next season’s dates just about any minute.

More snow on the way for “Val”

We are counting the days until the big spring trip to Val d’ Isere (and St Foy and La Plagne and Les Arcs and more). This is going to be great and as we have said there is still time to book passage on our adventure.  Call today at (970) 728-6481 for details!  View the snow report below and lets go.

The Big Weekend

A fantastic weekend.  First we had a great slide show up at the Walker’s on friday.  Peter cooked up the Moroccan goodness for sure.  We benefited fully from the big storm that seemed to simply recirculate day after day.  Telluride is going off right now.  Here are some shots on the ol’ facebook page.  http://www.facebook.com/alpenglowskisafaris

Back Again!

Multi vacation in Morocco, Marrakech and Atlas Mountains!

Staffan is the first to get images from the Moroccan trip!  The ‘kid’ did unbelievable like usual.  Well maybe better than usual-these photos are extraordinary!  Check it out people and enjoy.

RYDER/ WALKER HELPS OUT!

Our good friends at Ryder/Walker have added a nice piece on the remaining Alpenglow trips on offer this Winter.  Thanks to them and as the photo attests, we are skiing the Winter  where we are hiking in the Summer!  Additional first hand account from Daniel in St. Anton; it’s Dumping!

Daniel is on the way!

Our man Danne is on his way to Austria to begin our winter 2013 schedule!   This nice shot portends good things to come.  The photo was taken in Eastern France looking in to Switzerland several days ago.  Big fun lies ahead and we are wishing Daniel and his group many happy turns.

Center of Austria about to get Hammered!

Click the link here to see the colorful map of the middle of Ausria.  THe yellow is 50 to 70 cm of new snow!  So things are really looking good for our Arlberg trip now less than two weeks away.  Let it Snow!

The photo here by the way is John Hucks on an extraordinary day above Stuben, Austria.  We had the entire route to Langen to ourselves and as can be seen, the snow was perfect!

Here it comes again!

The forecast is calling for another good dump of snow all across the alps.  The continued cold and snow have helped consolidate the base and keep avalanche danger to a minimum.  This is good news for skiers and for off-piste ski tour operators like ourselves.  That means please take a closer look at our Austria trip in March and the great Paradiski coming in April!  These trips are targeted to take full advantage of super conditions. Let’s go.  Follow this link to see the good outlook and the brighter the color the bigger the snow.
